iTunes music is drm-free

iTunes music is drm-free now, but for the old itunes users, full of
music must pay a 30-cent upgrade per song, 60 cents for video
upgrades, it seems a bit expensive and isn't worthwhile, the very
economical way I use is with this media converter, it can handle with
all types drm and common video music files, and also supports batch
conversion, works easy and great:)

Great list of sites - thanks! I think there's great promise in using online financial tools for improving the financial health of the nation.

Well, at least you had the option to take public transportation. The buses in my area are barely usable. If you don't have a car there is almost no way to get to work

I recall a Popular Mechanics issues not too long ago (maybe 6 months ago) that did technical and user preference tests on Mac vs. Windows.

They found that Macs are NOT more expensive for the same power.
For equivalent setups, the Mac actually ran Windows slightly better, but then again, there must have been some differences in the hardware.

However when it came to PC newbs, there was significant preference for Mac over PC or vice versa.
I think it just comes down to your personal preference.
Personally, I like both. I have an OS X laptop and a Vista tablet PC. It's got great tablet support.

The whole thing comes down to too much pride and people wanting to fight.

I would tend to agree, David. I think this is partly why Apple is killing their direct involvement headlining these rigid calendared events. They can't be expected to release an iPhone every single year.

There were a couple of nice announcements, but from a hardware perspective I think the keynote wasn't the worst ever, but not the greatest, either. Sort of exiting Macworld with a whimper.

That being said, I thought Schiller did a fine job presenting, and the absence of Steve wasn't as painful as I feared it could have been.

What was disappointing was that so many rumors were simply made up fantasy: iPhone nano, Verizon iPhone, tethering, Mac Mini, Apple TV, iMac, etc.

The new 17" laptop makes some important technological advances, but I think they chose their worst performing machine to use the "early adopters" as guinea pigs.

Everything truly important, IMO, was related to software. iWork.com, "learn to play" garage band, DRM, facial recognition photo organization ... Stuff that wasn't even on the radar.
